PBRA Competition Highlights & News: September 12th

Sep 11, 2016 - 7:04 PM

I want to start off by thanking the PBRA community for all of their well wishes and generous gifts for Mike and I as we celebrated our wedding on September 3rd, it truly was a beautiful day and we wished all of you could have been there to celebrate with us. Words can’t express my gratitude to Tom Matthews for holding down the fort while we were away, and to Lexi and Kelly for their coverage upon their return. We are staring to get into a busy time of year – with ESP shows available almost every weekend along with the AHS IEA shows starting in October. Please be sure to check our calendar for upcoming events, and if you see anything on their you would like to add, please let us know – we would love to start adding a few more social events to the calendar!

Please remember to take a look at our show schedule is listed at the bottom of this email. To avoid late entry fees, please take a look and let me know if you are interested in showing sooner rather than later. The shows will be on our “home turf” through the beginning of October, so it’s a good way to get in a less-stress show experience!

As a reminder our barn hours posted in the copy of our rules are from 8:00 to 7:30 pm Tuesday through Sunday. The barn is closed to ALL members on Mondays. That means all equine activity including riding, bathing, grazing, etc must be finished before closing **except in the case of participants in a 6:30 lesson **. Please be respectful of these times in terms of drop off and pick up of your child. In addition, all mounted activities must be supervised by either a trainer, parent, or guardian – please look at the lesson schedule to plan hacking either around lesson times or make sure you can be available to supervise your child while mounted.

Attached is this week’s schedule. Please let me know if you cannot make your scheduled time ASAP so we may do our best to accommodate a different time. As you can see our schedule is starting to fill up, therefore we need to be informed of any scheduling conflicts in advance. Thank you for your understanding.
