Summer II and the first week of school are a wrap. Hoping all of the kids are settling back into their school routines as we settle back into the show routine! Thank you again to all of the parents and staff who keep us running like a well oiled machine on show days and we congratulate all riders for their outstanding performances this weekend! Congratulations to Reily Malt on the half-lease of Tiger, lovingly known as “Pancake” around the barn. We can’t wait to see you progress together!
As a reminder our show schedule is listed at the bottom of this email. To avoid late entry fees, please take a look and let me know if you are interested in showing sooner rather than later. The shows will be on our “home turf” through the beginning of October, so it’s a good way to get in a less-stress show experience!
Additionally – I really want to thank the PBRA community for hosting a shower celebrating with Mike and I last week, we appreciate the well wishes and thoughtful gifts! For planning purposes we will be traveling for the wedding and unavailable by phone with limited email access from Wednesday August 31st through Wednesday September 7th. Lessons will be held on a limited schedule Thursday the 1st through Sunday the 4th with any makeups made the following weeks. During that time please address any questions or concerns to Lexi, Kelly and/or Tom. I will be sending contact information along with emergency contact in a future mailing.
Attached is this week’s schedule. Please let me know if you cannot make your scheduled time ASAP so we may do our best to accommodate a different time. With school starting and IEA practices starting soon we need to be informed of any scheduling conflicts in advance. Thank you for your understanding.
Congratulations to the following horse and rider combinations for outstanding performances during ESP Summer II:
Haley Farber & “Let’s Dance” made their show ring debut together in the Low Children’s Hunters and put out a great performance! On Saturday this pair won their under saddle and earned a second and third over fences. This pair had a repeat performance on Sunday over fences to earn Champion of the Low Child/Adult hunters. Congratulations on a job well done!
Sydney Schumacher & PBRAs “Sweet Potato Pie” made their rated show ring debut together and proved they are unstoppable with a clean sweep of blues on the walk, walk/trot, and walk/trot jump division. Can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two, great job!
Myca Harris & her new mount “Sandro Reuben” proved they are the pair to beat! On Saturday this pair won one of their over fences and the hack to earn Champion of the short stirrup hunters. On Sunday this pair had a repeat performance to the tune of Champion in the Short Stirrup Equitation division. Great job! – look for this pair in the modified hunter division in the very near future!
Abby Eidelman & PBRAs “Rosmel’s Blue Jazz” made their show ring debut together and did a fantastic job! On Saturday this pair won one of their over fences to earn Reserve Champion in the short stirrup hunters. On Sunday this pair also had a repeat performance, earning Reserve Champion in the Short Stirrup Equitation division. Way to go! Awesome riding on your first time out on a new mount!

For ‘A’ shows Manes: $55 -Julie Smith is our braider and expects payment by the Saturday of the horse show. Credit cards are preferred, Checks are ok. Any Braiding cash must be left in our box!
