Please check our calendar listed below for all of the events coming up in December – we have a jam packed schedule of shows, awards banquets, and our very own holiday party! The PBRA Holiday party will be held on Saturday, December 17th at Whitehorse, all members of the PBRA community and their families are welcome. We ask that if you attend you bring a small wrapped item for a “white elephant” gift exchange for the kids, $20 maximum. As we get closer and have a headcount we will provide a per head cost for adults vs. children. Stay tuned!

Congratulations to the following PBRA riders for a job well done at ESP Charity Show this Weekend:
Myca Harris had a catch ride on PBRAs “Almost a Valentine” on Saturday to help fill the division and dig a great job despite minimal time on the pony. This pair earned a fifth over fences in a large and competitive field. Good job on a last minute pairing!
Scarlet Siskind & PBRAs “Almost a Valentine” returned to the Children’s Hunter Pony ring on Sunday despite being very under the weather in the morning. This pair overcame adversity to complete her under saddle and over fences trips, continuing to improve and learn every time they enter the show ring. Additionally, this pair placed 5th in their warmup out of 22 trips, excellent job, can’t wait to see this pair perform come season!
Abbey Eidelman & “Glynmagic Covergirl” made their Children’s Hunter pony debut this weekend and did an amazing job, earning Reserve Champion their first time out together. This pair earned third in the under saddle and earned two firsts, a third and fourth over fences. Great job, keep up the good work!
Amelie Bertrand de Balanda & “Under the Sea” returned to the Children’s Hunter pony ring on Saturday for only the second time and continue to learn and grow from each other. This pair put in some of their most consistent trips, earning a fifth and sixth over fences. Can’t wait to see this pair evolve with each other over season, super job!
Hannah Glanzberg & “Silvershine” returns to the Children’s Hunter pony ring with super results! This pair hacked beautifully, earning a second in the under saddle. This pair then went on to put in some great over fences rounds, especially on Sunday, earning a second, third, and fourth over fences. Additionally, this pair placed 7th in their warmup out of 22 trips. All of your hard work and training is paying off, great job!
Casey Mangini & “Rushin'” returned to the Low Children’s Hunter ring again this weekend and placed well in a large and competitive field. This pair earned third in the under saddle and a third and two fourths over fences. This pair then went on to earn 3rd overall in the $250 Low Children’s Hunter Classic. Way to go!

Please let me know ASAP if you wish to be added to our roster. Braiding will resume at the SFHJA Charity Show and continue through Spring. For ‘A’ shows Manes: $55 -Julie Smith is our braider and expects payment by the Saturday of the horse show. Credit cards are preferred, Checks are ok. Any Braiding cash must be left in our box!
