Media Invited to Attend Opening Press Conference for 2020 Winter Equestrian Festival and Adequan Global Dressage Festival

Wellington, FL – January 4, 2020 – Members of the media are invited to attend the 2020 Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) and Adequan® Global Dressage Festival (AGDF) opening press conference on Tuesday, January 7, at 1 p.m. ET in The Wellington Club at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL. The 2020 WEF and AGDF will run January 8 through March 29.

Media will hear from a panel of representatives that will include:

Mark Bellissimo – Equestrian Sport Productions CEO and Wellington Equestrian Partners Managing Partner
Alex Granato – 2019 Pan American Games Show Jumping team bronze medalist
Sarah Lockman – 2019 Pan American Games Dressage individual gold and team silver medalist
Beezie Madden – Two-time Olympic Show Jumping team gold medalist and 2019 Pan American Games Show Jumping individual and team bronze medalist
Christopher Payne – Top hunter rider and trainer
Michael Stone – Equestrian Sport Productions President

Thomas Baur, AGDF Director of Sport, will also be available for questions regarding AGDF. Parking for the opening press conference is free and attendees should use the 3400 Equestrian Club Drive entrance.

Please note that media accreditation is required to cover the 2020 WEF and AGDF events. Members of the media interested in applying for media credentials to cover the 2020 WEF and/or AGDF should fill out the media accreditation form online. Credentials that are approved by Monday, January 6, at 5 p.m. will be available for pick-up at the opening press conference. Otherwise, credentials will be available thereafter in the WEF Press Room Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during each competition week or the AGDF Press Room on Thursday through Sunday during CDI competitions.

The Winter Equestrian Festival at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center is the largest and longest running horse show circuit in the world and welcomes the media to cover 2020 competition. This year’s event includes four weeks of CSI 5* competition culminating with the $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI 5* during week 12.

The Adequan® Global Dressage Festival is the world’s largest international and national dressage circuit featuring seven CDIs, including four CDI-Ws, one 4* and one 5*, CDIO Nations Cup competition, as well as U.S. National events.
