Equestrian Sport Productions Internships:
Equestrian Sport Productions is pleased to offer several internship opportunities for the 2021-2022 winter season in Wellington, Florida. All sponsorship, marketing, and events interns will assist members of our team with a wide variety of initiatives across our hunter/jumper, dressage, and polo venues.

All candidates must have their own housing and transportation. College credit or similar hourly/daily compensation is available. Weekend work and the ability to stay for multiple night events each week (various Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays) is required. All positions may start as soon as December 1, 2021, and continue through April 2022.

Social Media and Web Intern:
The Marketing Department is seeking an intern interested in a future career in social media marketing. The Social Media and Web Intern will work directly with our Social Media Manager to assist the Marketing team with social initiatives, content creation, website management, and live event coverage. The ideal Social Media and Web Intern is a creative thinker with strong skills across all major social media platforms. This candidate should be comfortable working in close proximity to horses, speaking with and interviewing riders on a daily basis, working independently, and has a general understanding of the equestrian industry. Please include a creative writing sample with your cover letter – this can be examples of social media posts for a brand/company, or a creative blog writing sample. If you have photography or videography/video editing experience, please include examples as well. The Social Media and Web Intern may work with hunter/jumper, dressage, and/or polo competition.
General Marketing Intern:
The Marketing Department is also seeking an intern interested in a future career in equestrian marketing. The General Marketing Intern will assist members of our team with a wide variety of marketing initiatives across our hunter/jumper, dressage, and polo venues. Some tasks may include, but are not limited to, assisting with ad creation, data tracking and reporting, photography, distribution of marketing materials, media and public relations opportunities, various written assignments, and live event coverage. The General Marketing Intern will develop broad marketing experience in a fast-paced, dynamic marketing department. This multi-tasking candidate should have excellent writing skills, be self-motivated, and have a general understanding of the equestrian industry. Previous experience with photography and videography is a major plus, as well as knowledge of WordPress and email marketing.
This is an ideal position for candidates looking to gain experience in the Sponsorship and Sports Marketing sector. The Sponsorship Intern will assist with a variety of the company’s sponsors, including contract fulfillment and in-depth activations, as well as liaising with internal F&B and Events staff. The ideal candidate will have some horse show knowledge to be able to understand the showground logistics and basic office administrative skills. Applicant must be well-organized, reliable for own time management, work well within a team environment, and be willing to work outdoors.
The PBIEC Events Intern will be primarily responsible for supporting the Special Events Managers and/or key Supervisors to assist in coordinating event logistics. As a member of the PBIEC team, they will be instrumental in organizing and executing multiple events at several venues to provide an outstanding customer experience. This individual will be responsible for the following duties (but not limited to): Execute Saturday Night Lights (SNL) midway drag activations and kid’s activities with oversight from the Event Manager, support the set-up and breakdown of events and various entertainment pieces, distribute event marketing material around WEF showgrounds, and assist with the Equestrian Lunch Tour program. The ideal candidate will be a detailed and quality-oriented person who is self-motivated and punctual. They must possess effective and professional communication skills and demonstrate excellent customer service with all staff, vendors, sponsors, and guests. A strong working knowledge of all aspects of Microsoft Office and G Suite is required. Candidates must possess either a completed, or be in the process of completing, a 4-year college degree in hospitality, marketing, equine business, business or a related field. Trainability and interest are more important than experience.
