Wellington, FL – May 9, 2018- The Equestrian Sport Productions Spring IV competition concluded on Sunday, May 6, at Equestrian Village at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC), as Sebastian Robayo of Jupiter, FL, jumped to the top of the leaderboard in the $10,000 Open Welcome Stake, aboard Peter Lloyd’s Charley.

The day’s course, designed by Jamie Morillo (ECU), welcomed 16 entries to contest, but only two returned to challenge jump-off timers. Robayo and his mount breezed around the track in 46.662 seconds, winning by a margin of nearly four seconds ahead of second place finisher German Camargo of Loxahatchee, FL, and his own Centurio, who ended the jump-off in 50.061 seconds. Third place was captured by Manuel Fernandez Hache of Wellington, FL, riding Aristides Fernandez Zucco’s Al Calypso across the finish line in 68.292 seconds in the first round, with four added faults.
The $1,500 NAL Child/Adult Jumper Classic was championed by Doris Neyra of Miami Beach, FL, and her own Vodka Cruiser, who topped the class with a time of 47.059 seconds. Trinity Beitler of Coconut Creek, FL, and Piazza di Siena, owned by Giovanni Principi, collected second place on a jump-off time of 48.191. Third place was awarded to Zayna Rizvi of Greenwich, CT, aboard Calvaton Z, owned by Stephex Stables, completing the short track in 49.472 seconds.
Samantha Senft of Wellington, FL, and her own Farandi, captured top honors in the $1,000 USHJA 3′ & 3’3″ Green Incentive, while Megan Young of Jacksonville, FL, and Varekai, owned by EHM Equestrian, LLC, took second place. Young was also presented with third place, piloting Daryl Ziegler Henning’s Chiseled to the yellow ribbon.
Taje Warrick of Wellington, FL, and her own Mufasa, topped the $1,500 Low Child/ Adult Jumper Classic, after a jump-off ending in 29.659 seconds. Second place was also awarded to Warrick, showing Madeline Lezotte’s Lennox 324. Olivia Dornau of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, rode Andy Kocher’s Top Notch, to the third-place position, crossing through timers in 33.889 seconds.

The $250 .85m Classic saw Cotswold Classic, owned by Pine Hollow Farm and piloted by Sydney Myers of Plantation, FL, take top honors after the duo stopped the jump-off timers in 27.242 seconds. Gabriella Curry of Plantation, FL, and her own Zyou took second place with a time of 27.896 seconds, ahead of Kelly Rodriguez of Dania, FL, and her Asdi Absolut, collecting third place with a jump-off time of 29.45 seconds.
The $1,000 #1 Education Place Junior Hunter 3’3″/3’6″ Classic saw Samantha Braswell of Wellington, FL, and Timoteo best competition, taking champion honors ahead of Mia Green of Delray Beach, FL, piloting Cayetano, owned by Forget Me Not Farm, who finished in second. Third place went to Hailey Berger of Parkland, FL, and Lexx, owned by Paul Macrae.
Fox Creeks Curious George, owned by the Lignelli Family and ridden by Agatha Lignelli of New York, NY, took home champion honors in the $500 Score At The Top Medium Pony Hunter Classic. Savonna Adell and her own Laugh Out Loud, were presented with second place honors. Isabella White and her own Pink Cadillac ended the class with third place honors.
