Clifford Clinches Victory at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center

Wellington, FL – October 24, 2018 -The 2018 ESP Fall II competition saw Shannon Clifford of Paris, TX, and her own Ilusionist II top the $10,000 ESP Open Stake. The class welcomed twenty-one horse and rider pairs, with four contesting the Hector Loyola designed fast track at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC). Clifford and Ilusionist II collected first place honors, stopping the timers at 45.113 seconds.

Boca Raton, FL, resident, Paige Coles, and the Rosiano Farm owned entry, Cortina, captured second place, finishing on a time of 47.756 seconds. Emma Butchard of Wellington, FL, and her own Brasil took third place on a time of 47.247 seconds with four added faults.

The Equiline Medium Jr/AO Jumper Stake was topped by Lukene Arenas of Guatemala, FL, and his own Icarus Van De Kalevallei, being the only pair to contest the fast track, finishing on a time of 41.541 seconds. Hannah Hink of Lighthouse Point, FL, and her own Checkpoint placed second with a first round time of 75.276 seconds and four added faults. Florencia Validvieso of Paris, TX, and her own Christie Z collected third place with a time of 79.61 seconds and eight added faults.

Vicky Venschott out of Germany, and Ferdita owned by Juan Andres Rodriguez Silva, took top honors in the Low Jr/AO Jumper Stake sponsored by Equiline, crossing the timers at 76.244 seconds with one added fault. Abigail Ron of Wellington, FL, captured second place with a time of 68.743 seconds and four added faults. Paige Myers of Plantation, FL, and her own Klyde’s Getaway finished third place on a time of 72.074 seconds and four added faults.

Taje Warrick of Wellington, FL, and her own Mufasa collected first place in the Dover Saddlery NAL Child/Adult Jumper Classic, with a time of 41.414 seconds. Valentina Arenas of Guatemala, FL, the Alpine Stables LLC owned entry, Unique Star, placed second, crossing the timers at 42.574 seconds and four added faults. Grace Zdravko of Clearwater, FL, and her own Gone Girl Z took third place with a time of 46.456 seconds and four added faults.

The $1,500 M&S Child/Adult Jumper Classic sponsored by Dover Saddlery saw Lauren Poley of Odessa, FL, aboard Deputy Hawk owned by Stephen Walsh, become victorious, stopping the timers at 40.67 seconds. Isabel Ernst of Vero Beach, FL, and her own Belle Nuit placed second with a time of 38.795 seconds. Jennifer Kazma of Boca Raton, FL, and Aniviero Z owned by Stransky’s Mission Farms, Inc., collected third place with a time of 46.088 seconds and six added faults.

Jeanine Thomson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and her own Spirit Soaring took top honors in the $250 .85m Classic, with a winning time of 46.161 seconds. Emma Sartor of Vero Beach, FL, and Victoria owned by Sara Barrett, took second place on a time of 44.285 seconds with four added faults. Renee Papamichael of Tarpon Springs, FL and her own Fawkes captured third place with a time of 48.807 seconds.

The Score At The Top Large Pony Hunter division awarded top honors to Lauren Gee of Valdosta, GA, and the Rivers Edge entry, Upside. Reserve honors went to Emma Vandenhouten of Plantation, FL, and her own Spiderman.

The $500 Pony Hunter Classic was topped by Lauren Gee of Valdosta, FL, and Upside owned by Rivers Edge, with a score of 157. Sterling Malnik of Ocean Ridge, FL, and Star Bound’s Everyday Love owned by Savannah Strasberg, placed second with a score of 153. Carsyn Korotkin of Wellington, FL, and Plumbago owned by Charles Moorcroft, captured third place with a score of 150.

 

The Children’s Pony division was championed by Ella Bostwick of Wellington, FL, aboard Blue Melody owned by Melissa Burns. Reserve honors was claimed by Lola Pietrafesa of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, aboard Peace Keeper owned by Clara Keath.

The Score At The Top Medium Pony division bestowed champion honors upon Sterling Malnik of Ocean Ridge, FL, piloting GC Ponies’ own Elegance. Malnik also clinched the reserve spot with Savannah Strasberg’s Star Bound’s Everyday Love.

Kristin Mccuin of Lake Worth, FL, and Gold Coin owned by Sandalwood Farms championed the Equitation Adult Ameteur division. Kaci Loveland of Tarpon Springs, FL, and her own Aramis took reserve.

Plantation, FL, resident, Emma Vandenhouten, and her own Indecision championed the #1 Education Place Junior Hunter 3’6″ division. Noa Diener of Indian Creek Village, FL, and the Derby Lane, LLC owned entry, Linden, claimed reserve honors.

The Score At The Top Small Pony Hunter division watched Lauren Gee once again take top honors, this time aboard the Team Weston LLC entry, Tina Turner. Reserve honors went to Lilla Ridley of Palm Beach, FL.
